You've been sent to your Grandparent's farm for the weekend and it's up to you to find out why. Explore the scenic countryside and take in all the "charming" sights it has to offer. Chat with the locals, get stung by bees, and break into private property all on your Nintendo GameBoy.
This game was created using GBStudio and really does run on your GameBoy. That tagline up above ain't lying. You can download the ROM and either play it on an emulator or plop it onto a flashcart and get the true monochrome experience, it's your choice. I guess you could also play in the browser... but where's the fun in that?
I am greatly appreciative of anyone who decides to download the game, even if you end up hating it. I am not a game developer and just wanted to tell a story that hopefully makes you—the player—feel something. Oh, also, if you find any bugs, please let me know in the comments. I had my multi-million dollar QA team extensively comb the game for glitches, but it's possible they might have missed something. Let me know, and then I'll figure out who to fire.
Thanks!

What a nice little bit of nostalgia!
This game is so lovely, the abmiance is really calming. Great job!
I do wonder if I'm stuck or thats the end of the game though, I can't seem to get past Friday. Seems like there are a lot of puzzles but idk how to move forward lol
Thank you for the kind words! I won't lie, the game can be a bit cryptic in some parts. My advice is to interact with everyone and everything. You might just find something important...
oh wow, my mom survived cancer when I was younger and this is a bit too on the nose. great job!!
Thank you so much, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
I love this! It really reminds me of childhood
That's absolutely the feel I was going for. Growing up in and around the countryside really left an impact on me.
success! guess we had some similar experiences because I relate
Really good start. I enjoyed the music and animations / storytelling.
I explored everywhere and spoke to everyone, but couldn't really figure out what to do after that.
I want to save my progress so I can come back later when I have time to play again, but can't figure out how to save (I assume when I complete the first puzzle / Friday adventure it will save ... just not sure what the first puzzle is yet. :)
Anyway, thx for building this, looking forward to playing again.
Thanks a ton! I definitely put a lot of work into this game.
P.S. Check the kitchen if you want to save...
